Edmílson Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ton Meulman, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Albino Maiorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Quirino in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tolek Mlekodaj was the one to do the kick off. Edmílson Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Mlekodaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Santo Gonzo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmílson Santos. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santo Gonzo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After 68 minutes, Pece Etoo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene and the Jacuitiba - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. 68 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Pomelo Nenene:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 73rd match minute, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Pomelov to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's zone, Ton Meulman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmílson Santos came out of the goal and Ton Meulman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene had played much better football throughout.
