The corner ended in Marcelo Noceda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ibirama Futebol Clube's Ruud Windmuller did a great save. After having played for 10 minutes, Urki Espino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Puerto Quito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urki Espino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urbes Cenzano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Sabóia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcelo Noceda who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Club Puerto Quito's corner Urki Espino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ruud Windmuller quite easily take care of the ball. Ruud Windmuller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitin Martin in the 20th minute of play. Ruud Windmuller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepito Plasencia, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Pepito Plasencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruud Windmuller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match Club Puerto Quito got a corner. Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelo Noceda ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Ibirama Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Edson Salgado hit a great ball. In the 38th minute José Augusto Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbes Cenzano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Luisão Sabóia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbes Cenzano. Club Puerto Quito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisão Sabóia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisão Sabóia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Luisão Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Augusto Novaes in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbes Cenzano saved Club Puerto Quito from getting behind. Oswaldo Barrionuevo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ruud Windmuller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbes Cenzano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisão Sabóia in the 55th minute. Frederico Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frederico Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Barrionuevo in the 61st minute of play forced Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Ruud Windmuller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urki Espino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruud Windmuller having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Urbes Cenzano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisão Sabóia. The supporters of Ibirama Futebol Clube booed when Club Puerto Quito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Noceda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Puerto Quito's Oswaldo Barrionuevo got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, José Augusto Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibirama Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but José Augusto Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbes Cenzano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urbes Cenzano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisão Sabóia in the 79th minute. Ruud Windmuller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urki Espino in the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute Oswaldo Barrionuevo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruud Windmuller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Urbes Cenzano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisão Sabóia. José Augusto Novaes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Urbes Cenzano came out and tried to block the shot, but José Augusto Novaes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute, Luisão Sabóia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Urbes Cenzano, passed just outside the right post. Ibirama Futebol Clube's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
