Ruud Windmuller made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Zernin Pellicer sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute of the match Flamengo de San Blás got a corner. Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rolando De Gracia ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Flamengo de San Blás's Rolando De Gracia to fire away a dangerous shot which Ruud Windmuller despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Flamengo de San Blás's attentive Yu Qi Hai managed to snatch the ball when Ismael Castro made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the match, Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Ruud Windmuller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zernin Pellicer. The supporters of Ibirama Futebol Clube booed when Flamengo de San Blás was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zernin Pellicer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zernin Pellicer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Ruud Windmuller proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Ibirama Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Flamengo de San Blás's Zernin Pellicer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ruud Windmuller. Ruud Windmuller yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Zernin Pellicer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zernin Pellicer got free with Ruud Windmuller in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruud Windmuller was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Zernin Pellicer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zernin Pellicer really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Ruud Windmuller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chiquinho Neto's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After 38 played minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Castro. Zernin Pellicer took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruud Windmuller. Ruud Windmuller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Luisão Sabóia made the kick off in the second half. If Zernin Pellicer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute Zernin Pellicer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruud Windmuller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Ibirama Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Zernin Pellicer came free, but Ruud Windmuller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zernin Pellicer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 65 minutes of play, Flamengo de San Blás's Zernin Pellicer made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruud Windmuller was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flamengo de San Blás made a substitution. Lucho Navarro replaced Stalin Moreruela. Flamengo de San Blás's Monchi Villalaz was substituted for Zernin Pellicer. The supporters of Flamengo de San Blás booed when Ibirama Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ibirama Futebol Clube's zone, Monchi Villalaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruud Windmuller came out of the goal and Monchi Villalaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute Frederico Moraes suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. After 79 minutes, Chiquinho Neto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flamengo de San Blás and the Ibirama Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Flamengo de San Blás getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Chiquinho Neto hit a great ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Chiquinho Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo de San Blás's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chiquinho Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flamengo de San Blás's Haarald Wings was substituted for Nicanor Elequemedo. Ruud Windmuller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chiquinho Neto's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Monchi Villalaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ruud Windmuller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monchi Villalaz in the 92nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Flamengo de San Blás had won after a very even match.
