Ettore Gelsomini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Olaf Zacharzewski made a huge save. The supporters of CA Boca Jrs booed when UNITED GWAREK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Poremba didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Gelsomini got free with Olaf Zacharzewski in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Emilio Galeone in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by UNITED GWAREK's Edward Domaracki. The crowd rose to their feet as CA Boca Jrs's Ettore Gelsomini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olaf Zacharzewski. That made the score 6-0 after 37 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.
