After 8 minutes, César Carioca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sagarana Clube and the Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin booed when Sagarana Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes in the game Armandinho Mandrak did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tostão Goiano. The supporters of Sagarana Clube booed when Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tytus Madajczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Zula Knopek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dráuzio Arantes. Sagarana Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zula Knopek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 30th match minute, Sagarana Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson Torres to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by César Carioca. With a little luck, Sagarana Clube's Dráuzio Arantes got control of the ball when Zula Knopek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cássio Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Mathias Berger fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sagarana Clube's protests and gave Mathias Berger a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sagarana Clube's Mathias Berger got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Mathias Berger came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Sagarana Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Berger couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute Zbyszek Ludwiczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Sagarana Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Prado to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Knopek came free, but Dráuzio Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Prado in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yaşar Nuri Hendekli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yaşar Nuri Hendekli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathias Berger went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 73 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by César Carioca. Luiz Fabiano Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Mariusz Kochniarczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeferson Torres got free with Yaşar Nuri Hendekli in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Yaşar Nuri Hendekli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin from getting a goal against them. Yaşar Nuri Hendekli was a little too slow when Jeferson Torres got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Sagarana Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin.
