Nunez Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.F.Fuenlabrada's Nunez Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesinha Meirelles in the 27th minute of play. When André Luís das Neves came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Dinamo Colorado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luís das Neves couldn't finish the play. Andres D'Alessandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Luís das Neves was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Marcel Matos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.F.Fuenlabrada's Nunez Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the C.F.Fuenlabrada defense, Marcel Matos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nunez Fernandez. The C.F.Fuenlabrada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nunez Fernandez should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Luís das Neves in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nunez Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nunez Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Martins in the 71st minute of the match. After 80 played minutes C.F.Fuenlabrada got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Francis. Nunez Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Martins in the 83rd minute of play. Gualter Lago took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nunez Fernandez. C.F.Fuenlabrada's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adrian Francis hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.F.Fuenlabrada's zone, Erasmo Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nunez Fernandez came out of the goal and Erasmo Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 92 played minutes C.F.Fuenlabrada got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Idacio. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Erasmo Martins sped through C.F.Fuenlabrada's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nunez Fernandez. There was no doubt that Dinamo Colorado were the better team. Dinamo Colorado's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
