Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juan Luis Alfaro started the match with the kick off. Osvaldo Simões struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Elodio Angellotti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dinamo Colorado. After having played for 5 minutes, Osvaldo Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dinamo Colorado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Francisco Lacunza put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vitório Andrade. 14 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Lacunza came free, but Vitório Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres D'Alessandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Elodio Angellotti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Luis Alfaro came free, but Vitório Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belmiro Traverso charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belmiro Traverso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Inter de Chillán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Traverso to maneuver through the defense. Elodio Angellotti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Dinamo Colorado's Carlos Loureiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Elodio Angellotti despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Barni San Martín hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Inter de Chillán's Elodio Angellotti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Chillán from getting a goal against them. In the 44th match minute, Dinamo Colorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Martins to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erasmo Martins to make the kick off. Vitório Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barni San Martín, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Elodio Angellotti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Martins in the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 minutes, Andres D'Alessandro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dinamo Colorado and the Inter de Chillán players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andres D'Alessandro hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Buenaventura Durruti kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Slaviša Macanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elodio Angellotti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elodio Angellotti came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamo Colorado's Slaviša Macanović. But to his dismay, Slaviša Macanović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 61st minute, one of Dinamo Colorado:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dinamo Colorado. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Inter de Chillán. Francisco Lacunza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vitório Andrade. 1-2. Elodio Angellotti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres D'Alessandro in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres D'Alessandro in the 69th minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Elodio Angellotti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinamo Colorado were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Inter de Chillán's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Loureiro took the corner. When Bolívar Colorado fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dinamo Colorado's protests and gave Bolívar Colorado a yellow card for diving instead. Bolívar Colorado hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Lacunza came free, but Vitório Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bolívar Colorado hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Dinamo Colorado's Tarcisio Mesquita was substituted for Bolívar Colorado. After a rather tough play, Dinamo Colorado's Bolívar Colorado got a free kick in the 77th minute. Elodio Angellotti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres D'Alessandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 87th minute of the match Andres D'Alessandro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Andres D'Alessandro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Dinamo Colorado getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Andres D'Alessandro hit a great ball. Francisco Lacunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitório Andrade having to interfere. Vitório Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Lacunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Inter de Chillán had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
