Guansa's Timoteo Obano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Deput in the 29th minute of play. Timoteo Obano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Gonsalve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Guansa defense, Jurand Deput kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timoteo Obano. The Guansa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timoteo Obano should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Guansa booed when RB Chubut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Lenertej didn't get a good kick on the ball. RB Chubut's Jurand Deput got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaac Mingo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Mingo got free with Timoteo Obano in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Isaac Mingo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 70thth minute of the game Isaac Mingo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guansa's Timoteo Obano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st match minute, Guansa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Oto to maneuver through the defense. Robert Vassenius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Isaac Mingo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timoteo Obano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. RB Chubut's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
