Svante Forssberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jurand Deput in the 8th minute of the match. Robert Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Browald in the 11th minute of play. Svante Forssberg made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Guaberto Bibiano sent off a good shot on target. Svante Forssberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jurand Deput's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Robert Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Browald, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match RB Chubut got a corner. Snett★inåt★bakåt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aaron Anselmino ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Aaron Anselmino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Svante Forssberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Gabríel Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Deput in the 27th minute of play forced Snett★inåt★bakåt's goalkeeper Svante Forssberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Edvin Brandin made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by RB Chubut's Bogdan Lenertej. Jurand Deput took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Svante Forssberg. Svante Forssberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jurand Deput sped through Snett★inåt★bakåt's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Svante Forssberg. With a little luck, Snett★inåt★bakåt's Svante Forssberg got control of the ball when Gabríel Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Snett★inåt★bakåt defense, Jurand Deput kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Svante Forssberg. The Snett★inåt★bakåt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svante Forssberg should have stopped the shot. Svante Forssberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurand Deput in the 43rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

RB Chubut's Isaac Mingo was substituted for Jurand Deput. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Mingo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Isaac Mingo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Forssberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Snett★inåt★bakåt's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Mingo came free, but Svante Forssberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
