When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Erasmo Ixona had great luck who in the 62ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Afonso Maciel from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Marlin FC's Nereo Henry got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Ixona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Estevez Palmeira.
