An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Guillevic in the 5th minute of play forced Rondeau's goalkeeper Luis Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Enaut received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Antoine Bonnard came out and tried to block the shot, but Prospero Enaut slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Luis Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Guillevic, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paul Guillevic in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Selatse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rondeau's Luis Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Guillevic in the 17th minute of play. Antoine Bonnard made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Prospero Enaut sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rondeau's goalkeeper Luis Selatse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Rondeau's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Guillevic came free, but Luis Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prospero Enaut was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Rondeau got a freekick which was hit by Christian Fonda. Luis Selatse acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jean-Yves Fresnais. In the 57th minute, Paul Guillevic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Tom Galpin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Royal PSG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rondeau the free kick. A collision led to Royal PSG getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. The Royal PSG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Rondeau's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
