László Medgyesi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Belarmo Campelo made a huge save. After 10 played minutes RAMBO FC got a freekick which was hit by Polo Laime. Anastasio Severino scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sándor Jászberényi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Benvide Cercalde notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gyál United's Sándor Jászberényi. Sándor Jászberényi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute, Anastasio Severino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sándor Jászberényi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 26th minute Benvide Cercalde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sándor Jászberényi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute RAMBO FC were awarded a corner. Godfried Van de cauter went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Benvide Cercalde to score against Sándor Jászberényi in Gyál United's goal. 0-4 after 29 minutes. Sándor Jászberényi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benvide Cercalde in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Polo Laime hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, RAMBO FC's Eate Lamota got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by László Medgyesi in the 41st minute of play forced RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Belarmo Campelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Cistero kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anastasio Severino made a kick off. Gyál United's Sándor Jászberényi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Gyál United from getting a goal against them. Anastasio Severino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sándor Jászberényi having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, RAMBO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Polo Laime to maneuver through the defense. Benvide Cercalde struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Sándor Jászberényi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RAMBO FC. Benvide Cercalde came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sándor Jászberényi could save by the left post. Belarmo Campelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ottó Gyarmati in the 67th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Benvide Cercalde cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Sándor Jászberényi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tello Picado hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Gyál United's Sándor Jászberényi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Severino in the 84th minute of play. Benvide Cercalde's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sándor Jászberényi firmly grabbed it by the left post. The attack was good, but when Benvide Cercalde in the 91st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some careless play in the RAMBO FC defense, László Medgyesi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Belarmo Campelo. The RAMBO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Belarmo Campelo should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. RAMBO FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
