The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luís Luz might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hilário Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Luz ran back to his position shaking his head. João Vítor Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teófilo Caneira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vila Ema Ravens's João Vítor Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Vila Ema Ravens from getting a goal against them. Hilário Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Luz in the 15th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that André Balada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hilário Salgado was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Horácio Parente hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Hilário Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Türker Sonalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the ADCR Loreto United FC defense, Türker Sonalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hilário Salgado. The ADCR Loreto United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilário Salgado should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Türker Sonalp in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilário Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hilário Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Türker Sonalp in the 29th minute of the match. Vila Ema Ravens's João Vítor Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teófilo Caneira in the 31st minute of play. Teófilo Caneira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Vítor Velloso made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Almiro Casado sent off a good shot on target. Almiro Casado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Vítor Velloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Almiro Casado slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. Carlos Eduardo Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Ema Ravens's zone, Carlos Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Vítor Velloso came out of the goal and Carlos Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vila Ema Ravens's João Vítor Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teófilo Caneira in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Türker Sonalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Torcato Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Türker Sonalp in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hilário Salgado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vila Ema Ravens's Carlos Eduardo Matorin got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Carlos Eduardo Matorin off the ground. With a little luck, ADCR Loreto United FC's Hilário Salgado got control of the ball when Türker Sonalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Türker Sonalp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Hilário Salgado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Teófilo Caneira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ADCR Loreto United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to Vila Ema Ravens getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Türker Sonalp hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila Ema Ravens's goalkeeper João Vítor Velloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teófilo Caneira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor Velloso having to interfere.
