Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ben-Ami Amran started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind G.R.'s goalkeeper Armen Werthein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Guerreiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armen Werthein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Sport Club Mavericks booed when G.R. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gineton Smoller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Filippini, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Armando Guerreiro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of G.R.'s Armen Werthein. Armen Werthein was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind G.R.'s goalkeeper Armen Werthein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Honorio Efraim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Guerreiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armen Werthein having to make a save. 28 minutes into the match, G.R.'s goal looked a bit too open when Armando Guerreiro came free, but Armen Werthein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Armando Guerreiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armen Werthein. G.R.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Guerreiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Armando Guerreiro struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Armen Werthein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sport Club Mavericks.

G.R.'s Zahavi Drucker was substituted for Ben-Ami Amran. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorio Efraim was the one to do the kick off. G.R.'s Armen Werthein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save G.R. from getting a goal against them. Manoel Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zahavi Drucker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the game, Armando Guerreiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Armen Werthein was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armando Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the last second Armen Werthein throw himself and got hold of the ball when Armando Guerreiro in the 69thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Armando Guerreiro struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Armen Werthein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sport Club Mavericks. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Guerreiro in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armen Werthein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sport Club Mavericks's Arturo Filippini was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Armen Werthein in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Armando Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Armen Werthein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Armando Guerreiro came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Sport Club Mavericks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Guerreiro couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Sport Club Mavericks's Armando Guerreiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armen Werthein. Armen Werthein yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 90 minutes into the match, G.R.'s goal looked a bit too open when Armando Guerreiro came free, but Armen Werthein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armen Werthein made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Honorio Efraim sent off a good shot on target. Armando Guerreiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 96th playminute. Sport Club Mavericks played a much better game than G.R. and deserved their victory. The G.R. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
