In the 11th minute, Vicente Noe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Osvaldo Goren came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Menchu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Goren couldn't finish the play. Angel Comizzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Cavanna in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Goren in the 15th minute of play forced LEBEG Team's goalkeeper Arrigo Talone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Osvaldo Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menchu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Goren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arrigo Talone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Menchu FC fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Menchu FC's Osvaldo Goren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

In the 52nd minute Alberto Cavanna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Comizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Gallardo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Marcelo Gallardo got a free kick in the 75th minute. Arrigo Talone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Quentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gavino Iliana's late challenge caught a LEBEG Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavino Iliana helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in LEBEG Team's zone, Marcelo Gallardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arrigo Talone came out of the goal and Marcelo Gallardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leandro Gonzalez Pirez's late challenge caught a LEBEG Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Cavanna took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angel Comizzo. Angel Comizzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Menchu FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
