Vivien Contant helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Cosa nostra Lyon got a freekick which was hit by Vivien Contant. Ahmid Lamouroux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor de Salles in the 19th minute of play. Flying Dutch's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thiago de Mendonça in the 21st minute. Flying Dutch's Thiago de Mendonça was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ahmid Lamouroux in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 28th minute of the match Thierry Platon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arthur Amorim skillfully saved the ball. Jonathan Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ahmid Lamouroux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flying Dutch. After 33 played minutes Victor de Salles rounded Cosa nostra Lyon's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Arthur Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Lagarrigue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivien Contant in the 42nd minute of play forced Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Arthur Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arthur Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivien Contant, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Ahmid Lamouroux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor de Salles in the 45th minute of play. Cosa nostra Lyon's Ahmid Lamouroux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Correia in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vivien Contant stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Flying Dutch's Arthur Amorim got control of the ball when Octave Josserand tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octave Josserand got free with Arthur Amorim in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Pedro Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ahmid Lamouroux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flying Dutch. In the 68th minute, Jonathan Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Cosa nostra Lyon getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Teofil Jarosiewicz hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes, Flying Dutch's Thiago de Mendonça shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmid Lamouroux came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flying Dutch reached it. Jonathan Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiago Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vivien Contant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Arthur Amorim made a huge save. Arthur Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivien Contant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vivien Contant in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arthur Amorim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 95 minutes, Vivien Contant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cosa nostra Lyon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vivien Contant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
