Karsten Hveding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Hammond, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Sverre Refsnes hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Garlic Eaters's Casey Chegwyn got a free kick in the 12th minute. A collision led to Garlic Eaters getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. James Tuck hit a great ball. Lars Obrestad kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Robert Hammond scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karsten Hveding, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When James Tuck fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garlic Eaters's protests and gave James Tuck a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Garlic Eaters's James Tuck got a free kick in the 30th minute. Garlic Eaters's Gul Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Liknes in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Daustad defense, James Tuck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karsten Hveding. The Daustad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karsten Hveding should have stopped the shot. Karsten Hveding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Hammond, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Bruninho Falcão charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruninho Falcão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, Garlic Eaters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Falcão to maneuver through the defense. The Daustad players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Garlic Eaters were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Liknes to make the kick off. Karsten Hveding made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Robert Hammond sent off a good shot on target. Robert Hammond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karsten Hveding read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Sebastian Kvernmo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Gul Keep didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Daustad. Robert Hammond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karsten Hveding having to make a save. After 68 played minutes Garlic Eaters got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Falcão. When Daustad's Christian Liknes in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garlic Eaters's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tom Dyrnes during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Karsten Hveding, was totally fooled by Garlic Eaters's Gez Barber, who 73 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Roar Walberg's late challenge caught a Garlic Eaters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roar Walberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, Daustad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roar Walberg to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Daustad's goalkeeper Karsten Hveding had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shane Barratt. Karsten Hveding made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shane Barratt in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shane Barratt in the 92nd minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Karsten Hveding to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes of play Daustad's Roar Walberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Roar Walberg hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
