Augustin Horea started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augustin Horea in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jedrzej Kieca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ignacy Ruszczyk hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu got control of the ball when Gilbert Raflewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sergiu Timaru hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Augustin Horea came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Club Sportiv Medgidia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustin Horea couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, KKS Lech Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Horea came free, but Jedrzej Kieca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augustin Horea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Kieca having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Murdza came free, but Nicu Arghirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicu Arghirescu was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Marcin Byczewski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcin Byczewski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to KKS Lech Poznań getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tigran Mosca hit a great ball. If Augustin Horea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jedrzej Kieca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Horea in the 57th minute of play. Augustin Horeas short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Jedrzej Kieca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to KKS Lech Poznań getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Radomil Murdza hit a great ball. When KKS Lech Poznań's Marcin Byczewski in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 81st match minute, KKS Lech Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Murdza to maneuver through the defense. Juliusz Matuch hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Raflewski in the 88th minute of play forced Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augustin Horeas short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Jedrzej Kieca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 92 minutes into the game, KKS Lech Poznań's Gilbert Raflewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Arghirescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Sportiv Medgidia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KKS Lech Poznań.
