With a little luck, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu got control of the ball when Victorio Monte tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 4th match minute, Club Sportiv Medgidia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergiu Timaru to maneuver through the defense. Serbülent Baysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Horea in the 6th minute of the match. Alexandrino Gameiro's late challenge caught a Club Sportiv Medgidia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandrino Gameiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, FC Anderlecht Huachipato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandrino Gameiro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Anderlecht Huachipato booed when Club Sportiv Medgidia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Ungur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandrino Gameiro in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicu Arghirescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Monte came free, but Nicu Arghirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match FC Anderlecht Huachipato got a corner. Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jude Cruz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The long shot by Jude Cruz in the 26th minute really tested Nicu Arghirescu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Romeo Ungur kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Flavius Băieșu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Jude Cruz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 37 minutes of play, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Victorio Monte made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicu Arghirescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Carlos José Opazo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicu Arghirescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 44th minute Alexandrino Gameiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
In the 51st minute, Alexandrino Gameiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Anderlecht Huachipato fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Nicu Arghirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandrino Gameiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Monte in the 56th minute of play forced Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ştefan Alupulesei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Roberto-Carlos Braga got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute FC Anderlecht Huachipato were awarded a corner. Club Sportiv Medgidia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandrino Gameiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. 81 minutes into the game, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Victorio Monte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Arghirescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 84th minute Alexandrino Gameiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandrino Gameiro scored 9-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicu Arghirescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicu Arghirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos José Opazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicu Arghirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Monte, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute Alexandrino Gameiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergiu Timaru during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes Club Sportiv Medgidia got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Timaru. Victorio Monte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Nicu Arghirescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicu Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandrino Gameiro in the 95th minute of play. FC Anderlecht Huachipato walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
