Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Augustin Horea started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thiago Botelho got free with Nicu Arghirescu in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 4th minute, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Cazimir Panait seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cazimir Panait the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Sportiv Medgidia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cazimir Panait had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 4th minute, one of Club Sportiv Medgidia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Sportiv Medgidia. Nicu Arghirescu went to the wrong direction when William Leme was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. A collision led to BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ronaldinho Alcântara hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augustin Horea in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dênis de Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulisses do Valle's late challenge caught a Club Sportiv Medgidia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulisses do Valle helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Club Sportiv Medgidia booed when BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurențiu Iosub charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laurențiu Iosub the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS booed when Club Sportiv Medgidia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Iosub didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Botelho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nicu Arghirescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. 32 minutes into the game, Ulisses do Valle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicu Arghirescu. Ulisses do Valle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 37th minute of the match, Thiago Botelho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicu Arghirescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 46 minutes into the game, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Stelian Hulubei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dênis de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulisses do Valle to make the kick off. Flavius Băieșu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis de Amorim having to interfere. After 58 played minutes BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS got a freekick which was hit by Didi Netto. A hard shot by Sebastian Matei from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Dênis de Amorim's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's Dênis de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Horea in the 65th minute of play. Ulisses do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renatinho Paraíba in the 75th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Ronaldinho Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicu Arghirescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A collision led to BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Didi Netto hit a great ball. Club Sportiv Medgidia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
