Joaquin Lopez's late challenge caught a KS Blizne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Lopez helped the player get up and apologised. KS Blizne's Patryk Mielak was substituted for Fabian Ryback. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boleslaw Merski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Unidad de Matanza's Reynaldo Rios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Awizo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 56th minute, KS Blizne's Boleslaw Merski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 64th minute Reynaldo Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Awizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kryspin Wiater came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the KS Blizne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kryspin Wiater couldn't finish the play. KS Blizne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Delfino in the 77th minute of play forced KS Blizne's goalkeeper Daniel Awizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Kryspin Wiater was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS Blizne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unidad de Matanza the free kick.
