Peng Yuan Kang hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Eutropio Harroyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Seguinus kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Bitxintxo Etxeberria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Colegas del Barrio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bitxintxo Etxeberria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dorel Amarandei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nahia Sierra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Dorel Amarandei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Marco Gonzalez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute Dorel Amarandei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eutropio Harroyo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Los Colegas del Barrio getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cordarin Silva hit a great ball. Marco Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Rutenio in the 46th minute of the match. Dorel Amarandei struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Marco Gonzalez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espirillo FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dorel Amarandei was the one to do the kick off. Los Colegas del Barrio's Marco Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Rutenio in the 51st minute of play. Espirillo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Diagur in the 52nd minute. The corner led to Espirillo FC's Marius Lăcătuș getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Dorel Amarandei came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Espirillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorel Amarandei couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Espirillo FC's zone, Eutropio Harroyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Milian came out of the goal and Eutropio Harroyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Gonzalez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Diagur went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Bitxintxo Etxeberria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Milian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nahia Sierra, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. A collision led to Los Colegas del Barrio getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Cordarin Silva hit a great ball. The supporters of Los Colegas del Barrio booed when Espirillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Lăcătuș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Colegas del Barrio's Marco Gonzalez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Colegas del Barrio from getting a goal against them. Dorel Amarandei's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marco Gonzalez firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Dorel Amarandei put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Marco Gonzalez. Although Los Colegas del Barrio had been in control for most of the match, Espirillo FC still came away with the win.
