Santoryu FC were furious when Christian Raiola was red carded, 35 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 35 minutes into the game, one of Santoryu FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Santoryu FC:s Armin Giolo showed great skill when he stopped Jairo Rutenio:s penalty. 38 minutes into the match, Espirillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Iacobucci came free, but Simon Milian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Corrado Lizzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Milian made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Alvise Iacobucci sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelio Martorella to make the kick off. Armin Giolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Lăcătuș in the 50th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camillo Punta during the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Rutenio in the 62nd minute of play forced Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Armin Giolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Corrado Lizzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 68 minutes, Marius Lăcătuș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espirillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Lăcătuș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 69 played minutes Espirillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Jerrald. In the 70th minute of the match Giovanni Milan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Milian skillfully saved the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Espirillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Iacobucci came free, but Simon Milian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Espirillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Martorella came free, but Simon Milian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Corrado Lizzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Simon Milian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armin Giolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Rutenio in the 93rd minute of play. Espirillo FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
