The Slipmaskinerna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Slipmaskinerna's Robert Stenkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ofelio Bórquez in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Edmund Qvarnström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Larrañaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alf Brolin's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Slipmaskinerna could leave the field as winners, despite Talcampeón FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
