With a little luck, Talcampeón FC's Apolo Larrañaga got control of the ball when Marquinhos Baiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9thth minute of the game Jacinto Cross who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Amílton Diniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Apolo Larrañaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavinho Queiroz's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Apolo Larrañaga came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Tiaguinho Novaes. But to his dismay, Tiaguinho Novaes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Marquinhos Baiano scored 2-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Larrañaga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Apolo Larrañaga made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Tiaguinho Novaes sent off a good shot on target. Apolo Larrañaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marquinhos Baiano in the 29th minute. Apolo Larrañaga was a little too slow when Christian Cardozo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 4-0. Wilian Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Flavinho Queiroz took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Apolo Larrañaga to make any attempt to save it. In the 38th minute, Ysmael Peraza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willian Almeida during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Willian Almeida hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Christian Cardozo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talcampeón FC the free kick. Christian Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tanio Lezaeta made the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! Tanio Lezaeta shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Apolo Larrañaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Novaes in the 58th minute of play. Apolo Larrañaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Baiano in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Talcampeón FC defense, Christian Cardozo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apolo Larrañaga. The Talcampeón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apolo Larrañaga should have stopped the shot. Apolo Larrañaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Novaes in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Marquinhos Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Larrañaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rutenio Poveda kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiaguinho Novaes came free, but Apolo Larrañaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Marquinhos Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apolo Larrañaga was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Apolo Larrañaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Baiano in the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Christian Cardozo hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the game, José Francisco Maffey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talcampeón FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Talcampeón FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ:s goal. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ. Marquinhos Baiano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Apolo Larrañaga. 8-0. 95 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilian Mandrak came free, but Apolo Larrañaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Tiaguinho Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
