Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elpidio Jorrin in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenneth Friis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the game, Despidida AFC's Elpidio Jorrin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenneth Friis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Rakkestad IF's Christoffer Stormyr got a free kick in the 17th minute. The audience was convinced that Elpidio Jorrin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kenneth Friis was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 24 minutes into the game, Elpidio Jorrin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Carl Frigstad's late challenge caught a Despidida AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carl Frigstad helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Carl Frigstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Atila Edu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kenneth Friis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Jorrin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32ndth minute of the game Elpidio Jorrin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rakkestad IF's Kenneth Friis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Rakkestad IF booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Hotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ati Cabezudo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenneth Friis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. If Atila Edu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Despidida AFC's Elpidio Jorrin in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 75 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Atila Edu. Kenneth Friis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Jorrin in the 79th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Linus Todal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rakkestad IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Despidida AFC the free kick. Roberto Herensuge didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Rakkestad IF's goalkeeper Kenneth Friis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ati Cabezudo. Ulises Hotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despidida AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
