In the 3rd match minute, ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Duardo to maneuver through the defense. In the 7thth minute of the game Nicasio Belmiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicasio Belmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 8 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Smeekes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicasio Belmiro. Nicasio Belmiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Joost Smeekes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After 11 minutes Seagulls's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was German Duardo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s German Duardo to fire away a dangerous shot which Jan-Joost Smeekes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Cornelio Beltxe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seagulls the free kick. The supporters of Seagulls booed when ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Beltxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Joost Smeekes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicasio Belmiro in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Cornelio Beltxe got a free kick in the 19th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicasio Belmiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan-Joost Smeekes. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. The supporters of Seagulls booed when ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Ortega didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on Seagulls's corner Floris Stühling fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Higinio Polo quite easily take care of the ball. Nicasio Belmiro struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Jan-Joost Smeekes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫. After 34 minutes, Rogier Veninga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seagulls and the ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rogier Veninga kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Seagulls from getting a goal against them. Nicasio Belmiro took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Joost Smeekes. Jan-Joost Smeekes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Arnaldo Ortega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Joost Smeekes having to interfere. After some careless play in the Seagulls defense, Nicasio Belmiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Joost Smeekes. The Seagulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Joost Smeekes should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Jan-Joost Smeekes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicasio Belmiro's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Belmiro in the 56th minute of play. Nicasio Belmiro took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Joost Smeekes. Jan-Joost Smeekes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 66th minute Chu Kuan Guo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Joost Smeekes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ made a substitution. Lionel-Andrés Iniesta replaced Serafin Koldo. In the 69th minute, Martin Andriessen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Chu Kuan Guo notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes. Jan-Joost Smeekes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frederik Zwarthoet hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Astudillo in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Nicasio Belmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Joost Smeekes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Astudillo in the 79th minute of play. Jan-Joost Smeekes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Jan-Joost Smeekes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel-Andrés Iniesta in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Belmiro came free, but Jan-Joost Smeekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Joost Smeekes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Kuan Guo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Nicasio Belmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Mauro Astudillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Jan-Joost Smeekes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Belmiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Joost Smeekes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Belmiro in the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Lionel-Andrés Iniesta came free, but Jan-Joost Smeekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Mauro Astudillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Joost Smeekes. Seagulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Astudillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. If Lionel-Andrés Iniesta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
