Fernandão Netto hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Aca Larroque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Pedro Donatello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. German Duardo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Higinio Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After recieving a nice pass, ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s German Duardo tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. José Pedro Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aca Larroque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Sílvio Luís Cerezo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Higinio Polo. That made the score 1-1 after 36 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rômulo Pena got free with Higinio Polo in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aca Larroque to make the kick off. Higinio Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Baptista in the 52nd minute of play. Fernandão Netto made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Serafim Brito. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luís Cerezo in the 56th minute of play forced ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s goalkeeper Higinio Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nildo Gomes hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Lionel-Andrés Iniesta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Pedro Donatello came out and tried to block the shot, but Lionel-Andrés Iniesta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 95th minute.
