Harm Meinders hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Octavian Balc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 played minutes Seagulls got a freekick which was hit by Stef Pragt. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Ernie Ball took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jan-Joost Smeekes to make any attempt to save it. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seagulls's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Smeekes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Seagulls's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Diego Tristan scored to the left of an out of position Jan-Joost Smeekes, making the score, 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Tristan came free, but Jan-Joost Smeekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Ernie Ball recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jan-Joost Smeekes. Ernie Ball showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 4-0 became the score in the 36th minute when Diego Tristan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Albano Faron dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan-Joost Smeekes, 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernie Ball stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ernie Ball nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Diego Tristan took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Joost Smeekes. Jan-Joost Smeekes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 60 minutes into the match, Ernie Ball had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Joost Smeekes. Seagulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernie Ball was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Floris Stühling made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Adrian Isăilă. Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernie Ball in the 72nd minute of play. Ernie Ball took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Joost Smeekes. Jan-Joost Smeekes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Ernie Ball scored 10-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Joost Smeekes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernie Ball in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Tristan in the 86th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Smeekes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Floris Stühling kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Harm Meinders kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Batalionul U23 Dorobanti were the better team. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
