Santo Muc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luukas Van Halbeeck in the 5th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luukas Van Halbeeck came free, but Santo Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luukas Van Halbeeck in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santo Muc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, SK Dreigoten's Jo Maerschalcx got control of the ball when Dionisio Abascal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uriel Illart kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Georges Van Der Talen, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Rufio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivermania FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Dreigoten the free kick. In the 16th minute, Hermengildo Rufio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luukas Van Halbeeck in the 17th minute of play forced Rivermania FC's goalkeeper Santo Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Uriel Vincente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 played minutes, SK Dreigoten's Georges Van Der Talen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Santo Muc came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SK Dreigoten reached it. SK Dreigoten's Jo Maerschalcx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save SK Dreigoten from getting a goal against them. A collision led to SK Dreigoten getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Erwin Kerstens hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Serafino Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Maerschalcx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Ildefonso Jurgi put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Rivermania FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SK Dreigoten:s goal. In the 39th minute of the match SK Dreigoten got a corner. Rivermania FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Georges Van Der Talen ran over to the corner to take the kick. SK Dreigoten's Georges Van Der Talen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Santo Muc in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Serafino Chuan fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivermania FC's protests and gave Serafino Chuan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SK Dreigoten booed when Rivermania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Abascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luukas Van Halbeeck was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, SK Dreigoten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Qvalfeldt to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Abascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes Rivermania FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Dimas. After 70 minutes, Serafino Chuan made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. SK Dreigoten's Jo Maerschalcx tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luukas Van Halbeeck got free with Santo Muc in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th match minute, SK Dreigoten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stef De Weijngaert to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Rivermania FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Uriel Illart hit a great ball. SK Dreigoten's Washington Hermes was substituted for Elias Van de Velde. The supporters of SK Dreigoten booed when Rivermania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Illart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rivermania FC's Santo Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Qvalfeldt in the 92nd minute of play. After 92 played minutes Rivermania FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Dimas. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SK Dreigoten walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
