Jo Maerschalcx was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Santo Muc managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when SK Dreigoten's Per Qvalfeldt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rivermania FC's Dionisio Abascal got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stef De Weijngaert hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luukas Van Halbeeck to make the kick off. The supporters of SK Dreigoten booed when Rivermania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Rufio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jo Maerschalcx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Vincente went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 73rd match minute, SK Dreigoten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cedric Van Landewijck to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Rivermania FC's Hermengildo Rufio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. If Luukas Van Halbeeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rivermania FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Serafino Chuan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luukas Van Halbeeck in the 92nd minute of play forced Rivermania FC's goalkeeper Santo Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafino Chuan got free with Jo Maerschalcx in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rivermania FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
