Rivermania FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Abascal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Psiu!'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Hermengildo Rufio scored to the left of an out of position Laércio Sá, making the score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafino Chuan got free with Laércio Sá in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santo Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 曲明强 in the 22nd minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, Psiu!'s 曲明强 made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Muc was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Rivermania FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Dionisio Abascal hit a great ball. In the 28th match minute, Rivermania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Abascal to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Castro came free, but Santo Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dionisio Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 曲明强 kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Santo Muc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Gonçalves in the 38th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sydney Gonçalves to strike the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Linares's late challenge caught a Rivermania FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Linares helped the player get up and apologised. Santo Muc made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Sydney Gonçalves sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th match minute, Psiu! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mané Castro to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Hermengildo Rufio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rivermania FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Rufio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laércio Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dionisio Abascal struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Laércio Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rivermania FC. 69 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's Dionisio Abascal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laércio Sá narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Dionisio Abascal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rivermania FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Hermengildo Rufio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio Sá having to interfere. Laércio Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
