Luukas Van Halbeeck started the match with the kick off. A collision led to SK Dreigoten getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Stef De Weijngaert hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Fe came free, but Jo Maerschalcx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 played minutes Vende Humo got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Quintyn. In the 8th minute, Luukas Van Halbeeck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nemesio Handi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Cedric Van Landewijck hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The supporters of Vende Humo booed when SK Dreigoten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stein Vercouteren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jo Maerschalcx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jo Maerschalcx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Fe, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Fe in the 23rd minute of play forced SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Jo Maerschalcx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes, Per Qvalfeldt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Dreigoten and the Vende Humo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes SK Dreigoten got a freekick which was hit by Per Qvalfeldt. In the 32nd minute Jaume Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Maerschalcx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jo Maerschalcx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaume Major in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the SK Dreigoten defense, Roger Martinez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jo Maerschalcx. The SK Dreigoten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jo Maerschalcx should have stopped the shot. Lex Haesevoets kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Quirze in the 41st minute of play forced SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Jo Maerschalcx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per Qvalfeldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Nemesio Handi made a huge save. Nemesio Handi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Qvalfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaume Major made a kick off. Jo Maerschalcx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaume Major in the 51st minute of play. Vende Humo were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after SK Dreigoten's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roger Martinez took the corner. Roger Martinez made a great header on Vende Humo's corner, it was just that SK Dreigoten's Jo Maerschalcx managed to reach the ball for a save. Carmelo Quirze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jo Maerschalcx having to make a save. Jo Maerschalcx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Martinez in the 56th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florencio Otsoko during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vende Humo getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Florencio Otsoko hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Jaume Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Maerschalcx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stef De Weijngaert kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Vende Humo's Nemesio Handi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Qvalfeldt in the 72nd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Vende Humo's goal looked a bit too open when Per Qvalfeldt came free, but Nemesio Handi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, SK Dreigoten's Per Qvalfeldt made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nemesio Handi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jo Maerschalcx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaume Major in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute Jaume Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Maerschalcx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Jo Maerschalcx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Fe. 95 minutes into the match, Vende Humo's goal looked a bit too open when Per Qvalfeldt came free, but Nemesio Handi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vende Humo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
