An unexpectedly hard shot by Taner Tuğkan in the 23rd minute of play forced ZigZag Athletic's goalkeeper Teofilo Distiratsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CİCERO's Yağızalp Günden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesper Vollander in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, ZigZag Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Hamit Saye came free, but Teofilo Distiratsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, ZigZag Athletic's Gösta Messi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yağızalp Günden. Yağızalp Günden yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Yağızalp Günden made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Jesper Vollander sent off a good shot on target. Jesper Vollander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yağızalp Günden having to make a save. Jesper Vollander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Yağızalp Günden made a huge save. Bengt-Rune Öman charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bengt-Rune Öman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Bengt-Rune Öman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofilo Distiratsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Hamit Saye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CİCERO were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after ZigZag Athletic's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Serter Haymanalı took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Ahmet Necdet Yunus heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Necdet Yunus to make the kick off. Taner Tuğkan kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Yağızalp Günden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesper Vollander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute of the match CİCERO got a corner. ZigZag Athletic's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led CİCERO's Serter Haymanalı to fire away a dangerous shot which Teofilo Distiratsu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Yağızalp Günden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Messi in the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, CİCERO's goal looked a bit too open when August Hökkvist came free, but Yağızalp Günden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. August Hökkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yağızalp Günden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Yağızalp Günden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from August Hökkvist went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ZigZag Athletic fans cheered their team off the field, for while CİCERO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
