The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valter Klack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mister Yasin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Valter Klack stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Domenichetti's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 6thth minute of the game Mister Yasin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Here Comes the Hammer's Valter Klack was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valter Klack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Domenichetti in the 9th minute of play. Artur Pernambucano came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Here Comes the Hammer's Robert Christoffersson. But to his dismay, Robert Christoffersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Here Comes the Hammer were furious when Kārlis Straubegs was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Manly FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mister Yasin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Here Comes the Hammer's Valter Klack. 1-1. Andres Dollymore made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Here Comes the Hammer's Lennart Zander. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manly FC's goalkeeper Artur Pernambucano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Here Comes the Hammer's Valter Klack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mister Yasin in the 33rd minute of play. After 44 played minutes Manly FC got a freekick which was hit by Stevie Nicol. Valter Klack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lawrance Mcinnis in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mister Yasin made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Here Comes the Hammer's Yuma Suzuki got a free kick in the 54th minute. Carlinhos Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artur Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos Félix in the 66th minute of play. Valter Klack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mister Yasin in the 70th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Domenichetti got free with Valter Klack in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute Mister Yasin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Klack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Manly FC booed when Here Comes the Hammer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuma Suzuki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yuma Suzuki kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Bruno Domenichetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Klack having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Lennart Zander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Here Comes the Hammer and the Manly FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bukkus Bonk in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Pernambucano saved Manly FC from getting behind. Robert Christoffersson's late challenge caught a Manly FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Christoffersson helped the player get up and apologised. Lawrance Mcinnis struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Valter Klack didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manly FC. In the 94th minute Mister Yasin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Klack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Manly FC's Mister Yasin got a free kick in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
