The LA 90 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Bettini should have stopped the shot. Ruperto Bettini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesper Vollander in the 36th minute of the match. Jesper Vollander took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Bettini. Ruperto Bettini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 42nd minute, Jesper Vollander made a precise shot to the right of Ruperto Bettini. LA 90's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The audience was convinced that Jesper Vollander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruperto Bettini was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Ruperto Bettini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gösta Messi went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Ruperto Bettini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesper Vollander's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Jesper Vollander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Ruperto Bettini made a huge save. When Uriel Martinic fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA 90's protests and gave Uriel Martinic a yellow card for diving instead. Uriel Martinic hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. ZigZag Athletic's Harry Houdini was substituted for Hector Ares. A collision led to LA 90 getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Andoni Puyo hit a great ball. Ruperto Bettini came out of the goal and Jesper Vollander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ZigZag Athletic's August Hökkvist was substituted for Jesper Vollander. In the 86th minute, ZigZag Athletic's Harry Houdini dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Hökkvist in the 89th minute of play forced LA 90's goalkeeper Ruperto Bettini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruperto Bettini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of August Hökkvist's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute.
