Aristides Espírito Santo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacinto Asmussen came out and tried to block the shot, but Aristides Espírito Santo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 14th minute. Manuel Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simón Kirck, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, SLB TELHA's Eduardo Santana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacinto Asmussen. Jacinto Asmussen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. A collision led to SLB TELHA getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Marco Pinhal hit a great ball. When Diogo Guterres fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SLB TELHA's protests and gave Diogo Guterres a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SLB TELHA getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Elear Iparraguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 48th minute of the match Edgar Araújo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacinto Asmussen skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simón Kirck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, C.D. Pepino’s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paco Camarasa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Elear Iparraguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D. Pepino’s's supporters rose to their feet, but Elear Iparraguirre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elear Iparraguirre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elear Iparraguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Manuel Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SLB TELHA booed when C.D. Pepino’s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paco Camarasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Asmussen came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by SLB TELHA's Aristides Espírito Santo. But to his dismay, Aristides Espírito Santo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Jacinto Asmussen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Espírito Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Galeno's late challenge caught a SLB TELHA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Galeno helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristides Espírito Santo in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Asmussen saved C.D. Pepino’s from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, C.D. Pepino’s's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Pinhal came free, but Jacinto Asmussen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simón Kirck's late challenge caught a SLB TELHA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simón Kirck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, C.D. Pepino’s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simón Kirck to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elear Iparraguirre in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Esteves saved SLB TELHA from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Elear Iparraguirre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Eduardo Santana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jacinto Asmussen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the C.D. Pepino’s players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SLB TELHA.
