Albano Medardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Espírito Santo in the 37th minute of the match. Albano Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Santana in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to PLUMIN getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Serafino Rio hit a great ball. Avelino Madruga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Albano Medardo made a huge save. PLUMIN's Albano Medardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Santana in the 41st minute of play. Flavio Emeterio hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Pinhal came free, but Albano Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Carmelo Astrada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oberst-Wilhelm Jääskeläinen was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of PLUMIN booed when SLB TELHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oberst-Wilhelm Jääskeläinen struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Manuel Esteves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PLUMIN. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Espírito Santo in the 62nd minute of play forced PLUMIN's goalkeeper Albano Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Medardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Espírito Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored SLB TELHA's protests and gave Avelino Madruga a yellow card for diving instead. SLB TELHA's Manuel Esteves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save SLB TELHA from getting a goal against them. Albano Medardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristides Espírito Santo's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Marco Pinhal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albano Medardo. PLUMIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Pinhal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 96th minute Rômulo Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
