Primitivo Gallardo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. Primitivo Gallardo hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 18 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Gallardo. It was beautiful to see Sundens BK's Pelle Nykvist in action when he in the 20th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Patricio Alvarado charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Alvarado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Patricio Alvarado hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Wickander got free with Carlos Navarro Montoya in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Navarro Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Wickander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Douglas Ayala got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Albert Gernberg came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Sundens BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Gernberg couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patricio Alvarado made a kick off. 59 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Sajeev Rajah came free, but Carlos Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GuateFortín's Patricio Villacorta was substituted for Abraham Santamaria. After 63 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Gert Wickander. When Daniel Wickander fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundens BK's protests and gave Daniel Wickander a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Wickander hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's Jago Ballesteros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Navarro Montoya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute Jago Ballesteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Navarro Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Wickander in the 73rd minute of the match. GuateFortín's Carlos Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sajeev Rajah in the 76th minute of play. Wilhelm Säv didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Milton Umaña went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 84 minutes, Douglas Ayala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GuateFortín and the Sundens BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlos Navarro Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ove Lindmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute of the match Milton Umaña sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilhelm Säv skillfully saved the ball. When Mateo Terciero came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the GuateFortín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Terciero couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute Milton Umaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Säv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jorge Bonilla hit a great ball. Carlos Navarro Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sajeev Rajah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GuateFortín were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Sundens BK's much stronger midfield.
