The supporters of Limburg United booed when Cats and dogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Chabin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jean-Pascal Herrmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Lanfranchi came free, but Andrez Widdepenninck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match Cats and dogs got a corner. Limburg United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ange Chatry ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ange Chatry made a great header on Cats and dogs's corner, it was just that Limburg United's Andrez Widdepenninck managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 31st minute, Limburg United's Simon Du Sausois dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 34th match minute, Cats and dogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Titouan Bock to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck in the 36th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Franz Torres's left hand side. After 37 minutes, Sébastien Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cats and dogs and the Limburg United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Cats and dogs got a freekick which was hit by Sébastien Romero. The supporters of Cats and dogs booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathieu-Maxim Van Eynde didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Limburg United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cats and dogs were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Lanfranchi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andrez Widdepenninck acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ange Chatry. Andrez Widdepenninck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Pascal Herrmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute of the match Limburg United got a corner. Cats and dogs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck ran over to the corner to take the kick. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by Qwinten Waeberghe with Simon Du Sausois as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 68th minute of the match Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franz Torres showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joris Lanphant in the 69th minute of play forced Cats and dogs's goalkeeper Franz Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean-Pascal Herrmann in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrez Widdepenninck saved Limburg United from getting behind. Limburg United's Andrez Widdepenninck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Limburg United from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franz Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Limburg United defense, Jean-Pascal Herrmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrez Widdepenninck. The Limburg United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrez Widdepenninck should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cats and dogs had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
