Ralph Masters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Limburg United's Andrez Widdepenninck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Limburg United from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute Joris Lanphant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Callum Barratt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Limburg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giles Callewaert to maneuver through the defense. Andrez Widdepenninck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huey Porter in the 24th minute of the match. Patryk Plučinský made a great header on Leicester Lions's corner, it was just that Limburg United's Andrez Widdepenninck managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 28th minute of the match, Ralph Masters tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andrez Widdepenninck saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Callum Barratt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joris Lanphant, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goalkeeper Andrez Widdepenninck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mike Wadham. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 41st minute, one of Limburg United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Limburg United. Andrez Widdepenninck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Huey Porter in the 46th minute. If Ralph Masters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mike Wadham in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrez Widdepenninck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Limburg United booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mike Wadham didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Huey Porter made a precise shot to the right of Andrez Widdepenninck. Limburg United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Huey Porter took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrez Widdepenninck. Andrez Widdepenninck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 71 minutes of play, Leicester Lions's Mike Wadham made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrez Widdepenninck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leicester Lions's Adam Bettney was substituted for Ozzy Blythe. In the 76th minute Huey Porter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrez Widdepenninck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Huey Porter came free, but Andrez Widdepenninck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leicester Lions's Callum Barratt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Leicester Lions from getting a goal against them. Jesse Debock thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Andrez Widdepenninck, a very annoying self made goal in the 85th minute which led to 6-0. Andrez Widdepenninck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke Deveraux, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Patryk Plučinský hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Callum Barratt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck in the 91st minute. A collision led to Leicester Lions getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Qiu De Wen hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Adam Bettney had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrez Widdepenninck. Limburg United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Bettney was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Luke Deveraux's late challenge caught a Limburg United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luke Deveraux helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Limburg United booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luke Deveraux didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Limburg United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Leicester Lions.
