Sébastien Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sébastien Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Cats and dogs's zone, Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franz Torres came out of the goal and Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Limburg United's Josef Van Huele got a free kick in the 20th minute. Limburg United's Andrez Widdepenninck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Limburg United from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 26 in the game by Ange Chatry from a close distance when the talented Andrez Widdepenninck managed to make a qualified save. Limburg United's players were relieved. In the 27th minute Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franz Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franz Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Van Beylen, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Gert-Jan Volckaerts made a precise shot to the right of Franz Torres. Cats and dogs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Gert-Jan Volckaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limburg United's supporters rose to their feet, but Gert-Jan Volckaerts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franz Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 minutes, Nicolas Philibert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cats and dogs and the Limburg United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Nicolas Philibert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franz Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ange Chatry during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Cats and dogs got a freekick which was hit by Ange Chatry. 47 minutes into the game, Mark Heijligem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limburg United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cats and dogs the free kick. The supporters of Cats and dogs booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Heijligem didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ange Chatry to strike the kick off in the second half. Andrez Widdepenninck came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Cats and dogs's Ange Chatry. But to his dismay, Ange Chatry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The supporters of Limburg United booed when Cats and dogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Poiraud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Limburg United's Andrez Widdepenninck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ange Chatry in the 68th minute of play. Franz Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Heijligem in the 70th minute. A collision led to Cats and dogs getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Hubert Poiraud hit a great ball. After 72 minutes of play Cats and dogs's Ange Chatry was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ange Chatry kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Robbie Van Beylen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franz Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Andrez Widdepenninck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean-Pascal Herrmann's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Andrez Widdepenninck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Pascal Herrmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Andrez Widdepenninck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Pascal Herrmann in the 88th minute of play. Qwinten Waeberghe kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Cats and dogs's Franz Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert-Jan Volckaerts in the 95th minute of play.
