Ciro Cardozo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute, Filipo Inzaghi made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Cardozo. Desportivo Coala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 18 minutes into the match, Filipo Inzaghi notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Desportivo Coala's Ciro Cardozo. Ciro Cardozo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Desportivo Coala's Ciro Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipo Inzaghi in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Filipo Inzaghi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Mazur Ełk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipo Inzaghi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipo Inzaghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Wincenty Mocko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MKS Mazur Ełk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. 36 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coala's goal looked a bit too open when Wincenty Mocko came free, but Ciro Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Desportivo Coala defense, Filipo Inzaghi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Cardozo. The Desportivo Coala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Cardozo should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Wincenty Mocko made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Cardozo. Desportivo Coala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Wincenty Mocko managed to get in a good position for a shot. MKS Mazur Ełk's supporters rose to their feet, but Wincenty Mocko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half MKS Mazur Ełk were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Augusto de Brito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MKS Mazur Ełk's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
