Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul kicked off to start the match. In the 6th match minute, FC Lugano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vico Sticher to maneuver through the defense. Eleuterio Daunte came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lugano's Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon. But to his dismay, Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vikingos FC's Eleuterio Daunte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Vikingos FC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Liher. Pattharawut Sirikeartkumjorn, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 21 minutes into the match, FC Lugano's Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eleuterio Daunte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When FC Lugano's Ray Büeler in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vikingos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Vikingos FC's Eleuterio Daunte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vikingos FC's Eleuterio Daunte. Eleuterio Daunte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Qiao Jian might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eleuterio Daunte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Qiao Jian ran back to his position shaking his head. Vikingos FC's Segundo Balendin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Eleuterio Daunte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vico Sticher in the 39th minute of play. After 40 played minutes FC Lugano got a freekick which was hit by Dietrich Bucheli. Honorato Aureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Segundo Balendin made the kick off in the second half. Marcos Baumar tried in the game's 56th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Eleuterio Daunte. An annoying self made goal, 1-3. FC Lugano's Teddy Racine was substituted for Garnier Nüesch. Gian-Carlo Van Den Maagdenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Eleuterio Daunte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Igor Havier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vikingos FC and the FC Lugano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Igor Havier hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Daunte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vico Sticher. After a rather tough play, FC Lugano's Teddy Racine got a free kick in the 68th minute. Teddy Racine hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, FC Lugano's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Balendin came free, but Godo Gøl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerome Achen made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dietrich Bucheli however managed to control. In the 74th minute Gian-Carlo Van Den Maagdenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleuterio Daunte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vico Sticher in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vico Sticher in the 79th minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eleuterio Daunte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qiao Jian in the 82nd minute. Qiao Jian who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Eleuterio Daunte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Qiao Jian got free with Eleuterio Daunte in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Igor Havier hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute of the match FC Lugano got a corner. Vikingos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gian-Carlo Van Den Maagdenberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gian-Carlo Van Den Maagdenberg made a great header on FC Lugano's corner, it was just that Vikingos FC's Eleuterio Daunte managed to reach the ball for a save. Marcos Baumar tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Eleuterio Daunte. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-4 in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle sounded FC Lugano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vikingos FC.
