With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ademar Magalhães saved BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER from getting behind. BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Ademar Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER defense, Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ademar Magalhães. The BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ademar Magalhães should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lugano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul in the 30th minute of play forced BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's goalkeeper Ademar Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Ademar Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Lugano made a substitution. Qiao Jian replaced Ray Büeler. Ademar Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qiao Jian in the 40th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qiao Jian in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ademar Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Vico Sticher came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the FC Lugano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vico Sticher couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Qiao Jian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st play minute Qiao Jian came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ademar Magalhães. 0-6. A collision led to BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ivo Monteiro hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, FC Lugano's Ademar Magalhães threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Ademar Magalhães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER from getting a goal against them. When Ivo Monteiro fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's protests and gave Ivo Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. Ivo Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. FC Lugano made a substitution. Gian-Carlo Van Den Maagdenberg replaced Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon. In the 58th match minute, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul scored 0-7 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ademar Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ademar Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qiao Jian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ademar Magalhães having to make a save. Qiao Jian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ademar Magalhães made a huge save. 69 minutes into the match, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Vico Sticher came free, but Ademar Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. 0-9 became the score in the 83rd minute when Qiao Jian elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ademar Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul in the 94th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Qiao Jian took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Ademar Magalhães to make any attempt to save it. The BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Lugano were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
