In the 12th minute David Nyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akira Schmid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Akira Schmid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Nyman in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Akira Schmid prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivar Albohm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raphael Aregger in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raphael Aregger got free with Ivar Albohm in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Espen Steelers defense, Paul Hellström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Akira Schmid. Strömsbro IF's Bedirhan İrfanoğlu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Akira Schmid in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Paul Hellström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Espen Steelers getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gaetano Rothstein hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Freeman Mächler made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, David Nyman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Nyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akira Schmid having to interfere. Espen Steelers's Hubert Gartenmann was substituted for Raphael Aregger. Strömsbro IF's attentive Gunnar Bergstedt managed to snatch the ball when Mauro Caviezel made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. Paul Hellström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Akira Schmid made a huge save. Fabian Schär sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Strömsbro IF's protests and gave David Nyman a yellow card for diving instead. Uno Blomkvist hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90thth minute of the game Fabian Schär who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Akira Schmid didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Gartenmann in the 95th minute of play. The Strömsbro IF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Espen Steelers from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
