Hieronim Milko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Ambühl, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mister Head Son in the 18th minute of play forced Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Akira Schmid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes FC Sójcze got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Marchewka. Hieronim Milko was a little too slow when Freeman Mächler got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Andres Ambühl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute Milosz Grondzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akira Schmid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hieronim Milko was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Andres Ambühl capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andres Ambühl really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Mister Head Son came free, but Akira Schmid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Mauro Caviezel in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Sójcze's Lucjan Marchewka. After 42 played minutes FC Sójcze got a freekick which was hit by Milosz Grondzki. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freeman Mächler made a kick off. Lucjan Marchewka was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of FC Sójcze:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Espen Steelers:s goal. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Espen Steelers. Fabian Schär stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hieronim Milko. 3-0. In the 57th match minute, FC Sójcze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boleslaw Karwowski to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, FC Sójcze's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Schär came free, but Hieronim Milko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jaroslaw Sidorowicz fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Sójcze's protests and gave Jaroslaw Sidorowicz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Espen Steelers booed when FC Sójcze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaroslaw Sidorowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Sójcze's Jaroslaw Sidorowicz got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Hieronim Milko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harrison Muntwyler, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. A collision led to FC Sójcze getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jaroslaw Sidorowicz hit a great ball. Hieronim Milko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harrison Muntwyler went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Fabian Schär kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Akira Schmid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslaw Sidorowicz in the 70th minute of play. FC Sójcze's Jaroslaw Sidorowicz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Akira Schmid but with some difficulty. In the 76th minute, Milosz Grondzki fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Akira Schmid, passed just outside the right post. Jaroslaw Sidorowicz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 82 minutes, Berthold Boller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espen Steelers and the FC Sójcze players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Sójcze booed when Espen Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berthold Boller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanislaw Majczyk hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Fabian Schär struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Hieronim Milko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espen Steelers. If Harrison Muntwyler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Mister Head Son came free, but Akira Schmid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
