Prospero Calvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mi querida Fabiola. Amador Eate kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Mi querida Fabiola booed when Rafaela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Eate didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ceferino Belmiro during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mi querida Fabiola getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ceferino Belmiro hit a great ball. Benigno Victoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Calvino having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 27th minute when Eriberto Navarro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Vigil came free, but Prospero Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Efrain Tabby throw himself and got hold of the ball when Eriberto Navarro in the 32ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The supporters of Rafaela FC booed when Mi querida Fabiola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Beltza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes, Evelio Mikelar made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Rafaela FC's Prospero Calvino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramiro Erramu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Eriberto Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Tabby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evelio Mikelar was the one to do the kick off. Eugenio Izotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Efrain Tabby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceferino Belmiro was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 54th match minute, Mi querida Fabiola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Belmiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Eriberto Navarro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efrain Tabby was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 61st minute Guido Primeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Tabby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mi querida Fabiola's Evelio Mikelar got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Rafaela FC's Jacobo Fero got a free kick in the 65th minute. Cristobal Osoro kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Eriberto Navarro came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Rafaela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Navarro couldn't finish the play. Eriberto Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Efrain Tabby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Calvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Victoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 85 minutes of play, Mi querida Fabiola's Benigno Victoro made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prospero Calvino was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Eriberto Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mi querida Fabiola eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
