If Arsenio Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenio Eudoxio made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 38thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Fabio Filipo would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Flavio Vigil's late challenge caught a Defensores de Lombroso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Vigil helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Defensores de Lombroso booed when Mi querida Fabiola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Vigil didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Diego Latorre came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Defensores de Lombroso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Latorre couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Arsenio Eudoxio made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Filipo. Mi querida Fabiola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 47 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Vigil came free, but Celso Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mi querida Fabiola's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lino Belo in the 49th minute. The corner led Mi querida Fabiola's Lino Belo to fire away a dangerous shot which Celso Janpier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arsenio Eudoxio was the one to do the kick off. Mi querida Fabiola's Fabio Filipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Latorre in the 53rd minute of play. Fabio Filipo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsenio Eudoxio's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Lino Belo charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Belo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lino Belo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Lino Belo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Defensores de Lombroso's Toto Belmonte was substituted for Santiago Hunfredo. Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Miguel-Angel Merentiel replaced Ramiro Cidro. After 62 played minutes Mi querida Fabiola got a freekick which was hit by Lino Belo. In the 64th minute, Arsenio Eudoxio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 minutes, Domingos Cedro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores de Lombroso and the Mi querida Fabiola players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabio Filipo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Eudoxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Eudoxio in the 88th minute of play forced Mi querida Fabiola's goalkeeper Fabio Filipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Arsenio Eudoxio sped through Mi querida Fabiola's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabio Filipo. After some careless play in the Mi querida Fabiola defense, Miguel-Angel Merentiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Filipo. The Mi querida Fabiola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Filipo should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Defensores de Lombroso fully deserved thier win.
