After 13 minutes Rafaela FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacobo Avellaneda who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jacobo Avellaneda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rafaela FC's Prospero Calvino did a great save. In the 14thth minute of the game Diego Latorre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rafaela FC's Prospero Calvino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Cidro came free, but Prospero Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Calvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Cidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Prospero Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Eudoxio in the 19th minute of the match. Prospero Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Cidro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arsenio Eudoxio in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prospero Calvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Defensores de Lombroso fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Defensores de Lombroso's Arsenio Eudoxio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Jacobo Fero fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rafaela FC's protests and gave Jacobo Fero a yellow card for diving instead. Jacobo Fero kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Ramiro Cidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prospero Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Cidro in the 36th minute of the match. Rafaela FC's Prospero Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Cidro in the 41st minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, Defensores de Lombroso's Ramiro Cidro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prospero Calvino was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute Jacobo Avellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafaela FC's Prospero Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Eudoxio in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Cidro in the 48th minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Prospero Calvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arsenio Eudoxio to strike the kick off in the second half. Lin Liang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Calvino having to interfere. Prospero Calvino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsenio Eudoxio's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel-Angel Merentiel in the 74th minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Prospero Calvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingos Cedro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Prospero Calvino firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Arsenio Eudoxio put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Prospero Calvino. Prospero Calvino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arsenio Eudoxio in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute Miguel-Angel Merentiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lin Liang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prospero Calvino made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Domingos Cedro sent off a good shot on target. Rafaela FC's Prospero Calvino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Rafaela FC from getting a goal against them.
